Weight Loss Update

So I have been actively recording my food blunders diary on MyFitnessPal for a solid week now (give or take, I don't have my iPod in front of me and I am too lazy tired to go get it). After doing this and trying to do some kind of workout each day I have lost...

1.4 pounds!

Shut the front door, I cannot believe it! I actually did it! I am so happy that I have stuck with it for this long. I cannot even begin to tell you how much junk food I have dodged this week! We took the ladies on walks, I did Zumba, and plenty of P90X, so I worked for it!

*I know you are thinking, "this long? It's only been a week", but I am notoriously known for starting things and not finishing them, so 1 week is a major accomplishment!

Question of the hour: Have you been sticking with your plan to get healthier?

I can't really have 2 questions of the day in 1 day, so this is the question of the hour...


  1. Congratulations on sticking to it! That is the hardest part for me. I have been really good these past 4 weeks and have stuck to my fitness goal. My plan is to walk up and down the parking structure at work on each break, and I am doing it! The coolest part is feeling my leg muscle develop again, it's what keeps me going.

    1. Keara, thank you! I have been doing surprisingly well, which I am excited about. Good for you, take a little at a time and it will pay off. I love feeling muscles redevelop, it is what keeps me going. You should come to Zumba with me, just $5 a class!

  2. YAY!!!! Good for you!!! You should take your measurements too, you're losing weight, you're also losing inches too!!!

    1. THANK YOU!!! I have started taking my measurements as well, and I have actually lost like 4 inches overall! I am so excited about this because my clothes are fitting more comfortably, YAY!
