Before 5 Wake Up Time

My dear lovely Charlotte has been waking before 5 AM daily (don't ask me why, I don't speak baby) and because she is so mobile now (and in our bed) I cannot just doze off back to dreamland, because then she will pull herself up on the headboard and climbing over us...you get the picture

So for the past week we have been going out to the couch, where I will nurse  her and she will play for about an hour, then I lay her in the crib and she goes back sleep. Plot Twist: We share a room with her, so I can't go back to sleep, or she won't, obviously I choose her sleeping over me. Needless to say I have been starting my day at 5:45 AM, and yesterday I decided to embark on a new workout journey. I started...

Let me just tell you right now, she is.no.joke. I was thinking, "pffft 20 minutes, easy peasy" Boy was I WRONG! This workout will have you sweating the entire time, and afterwards I could barely walk down the stairs. If you are looking for a jump-start, or a reboot check this out. I am going to post before and after pictures with all my stats when I am done please wish me luck :)

Question of the Day: What do you do when your little ones wake up super early?
or
Have you ever done the 30 Day Shred?

  2. Yes! I use to think the Biggest Loser contestants were such babies, throwing up and carrying on after working out with Jillian Michaels. Then I did her 30 day shred. She DOES mean business! Kenadee had spurts of waking up early when she was 6 months, then 9 months..then at 1 year she kept a regular sleep schedule. It's tough - but just a phase..hopefully! ha ha. Wishing you a nap during naptime!!!

  3. Oh this is TOO funny! I just finished my 20-minute Jillian workout for today! I have the exact same DVD! Just take it one day at a time- you will be surprise (and impressed!) with how quickly you gain endurance and strength! You will feel like you have more energy too!

I hope you have a great week, Myranda!

  4. Sounds like my 10 month old boy. He wakes up around 4:30-5. A lot of times, he won't go back to sleep. So it means play time for him, while I start on housework before the 3 year old boy wakes up.

I've never tried that, but I have one of her Wii games. It's been awhile since I did it, but it really does kick your butt. I need to get back to doing it. Maybe seeing you doing it will get me going again, haha.

    1. Hahahaha my Charlotte is 10 months old as well, I am so sorry that he does not go back to sleep, but hopefully you can go to bed early at night. If you are inspired by me that is awesome!
