Xbox One, Forza Motorsport 5 and M&M's The Perfect Christmas Combo.

Xbox One is the hottest video game system this holiday season, and if you need games for this new system I suggest you head to Walmart and grab Forza Motorsport 5. Not only does Walmart have this amazing game, but they are also doing a  Buy, Snap, Redeem campaign with M&M's.

The graphics for this game are ah-mazing! Xbox One has really stepped it up with Forza Motorsport 5.

Beat the Holiday Rush with Sears and Kmart

These last few months have been crazy and now that we're coming into Christmas time, it's not going to slow down a bit. Now if you know anything about me, you know I love saving money. I treat it like a challenge and I try to one up myself with my best deals. Christmas time is no exception, I want to get everyone's list taken care of while saving myself some cash. I also love to save time, I am not down with waiting. I am kind of impatient when it comes to that. Well Kmart and Sears have given me a simple solution, enter FREE store pickup, hello amazing! The best part is, you can shop online, then send someone in the store to pick up your order and pay cash. So you don't even have to pay up front, and the order will guaranteed be ready within 5 minutes. That guarantee is amazing. You can order on your way to the store, and then run in and grab it. I am in love with this program. Also right now they are offering $10 back in points when you spend $59 and choose in store pickup. Order online from Saturday December 7th 6PM CT until Tuesday December 10th at 9AM CT and in store on Sunday December 8th only, so hurry to Kmart and Sears and order from the warmth of your own home, then send hubby to pick it up!

Bedtime: The Worst of Times, The Best of Times

Bedtime is a **beep** in our house... let's just say it can be a bit of a pain. Most nights at 9 o' clock, I can hear my kids playing in their room...bedtime is at 8 o' clock. Why are they up so late? Why must they have no concept of time? I have no idea. I used to be under the misconception that kids would sleep in, if they stayed up later...this may be true of teenagers, but it is the complete opposite with toddlers. They seem to wake up at the crack of dawn despite the fact that they were partying at eleven, which means mommy no longer gets to "sleep-in" on weekends.

I am so glad that we now have the ZAZOO photo clock. This thing is a genius idea, it uses photos and pictures to help kids understand when it's wake up time and when it's bedtime.

"ZAZOO Photo Clock helps kids and parents get more sleep. It's an innovative sleep solution for children who wake too early or do not stay in bed all night. Parents can use the pre-programmed images or personalized options set to an alarm time, and the screen will give children visual cues when it's time to get out of bed. The photo clock grows with your child with features including a rotating photo frame, music, audio book, alarm clock, and more."

Now instead of telling my 4 year old at 8 o' clock it's bedtime, I can have her check her clock to look for the moon and stars. When they see the moon and stars, it's time to stay in bed, when the sun comes up they can get out of bed. I am really enjoying no more 4 AM wake-up calls and my bed being invaded by small people.
This clock can also be personalized with photos, so it can be a digital photo frame. This helps soothe my girls at night because they can watch a slide show of their loved ones as they go to sleep. This is a parenting must-have! Please if you want to "sleep-in" and be the parent of a toddler buy this clock for your little one. Check out this ZAZOO video all about the clock.

The Monster Bash

The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark.

The Monster Cereals are back! Exclusively at Target, do you remember these cereals from when you were little? I do. I remember begging my mom on every grocery store trip to please get them, "please, they are gone when Halloween ends" and "I haven't tried that one yet, please!" I would beg with her. I finally got to try them, when I moved out on my own and bought them.

Lucky for my kids they get to try them a little earlier then adulthood. I was so excited to get this package, a Target gift card and retro monster cereal, I was in heaven!

Right now Target is the only place where you can buy Monster Cereals in retro packaging and it is so awesome! Also when you buy 3 boxes you get a free copy of the Monster Bash magazine, it is filled with recipes, fun and games all for the perfect Monster Bash! Promotion ends 10/31/13.

Make sure you pick up my personal favorite type Frute Brute, it is oh so delicious!

Disney on Ice- The Escapades

In exchange for my review I was provided with tickets to the show, all opinions are (and always will be) my own.

So last night we got to go and see Disney on Ice: Rockin' Ever After and it was awesome!

The girls had to get in their princess gear (of course) to get fully ready for the event.
We also had this awesome Merida bow and arrow to use in addition to the dress.
They had a blast! It was such a good show, if you are a Disney fan or you have a little one in your house, you NEED to see this show! We have never been to any Disney on Ice performance, or any real performance for that matter so this was a first and it was amazing! The colors were vibrant and the music was good, it entertained my 2 year old with no wiggles or crying. They were all hooked, just starting at the ice and I also loved it, I felt like a little girl.

One of my favorite parts of the show was The Little Mermaid's Under The Sea, it was bright and they even had black lights, who doesn't love neon?

My next favorite part was the floating lanterns from Tangled.

The only pitfall of the night was these $12 slushies, yes I paid $36 for ice and sugar, call me crazy...

Disney Comes to Town

It has been awhile, I know. I needed a little break though, just to reorganize and get some things in order. I have been going to school and trying to do it all with my loves surgery (he is still on crutches). I am super excited for this weekend though, because...I get to take my girls to see

I think I may be more excited then they are...I am most excited to see Merida and Ariel. I LOVE those princesses!

If you are a Portland local, go snag your tickets up now! The show is running from October 24th-27th and there are 7 shows total, so plenty of chances to catch the magic! Tickets on opening night are just $12 each!!! If you aren't in Portland go here to check out show times and ticket prices in your area. This show will be amazing, and if you're there on Friday night, you just might spot us!

Give Your Family The License To Spill With Smart Strand

This past weekend I went to the Scappoose Sauerkraut Festival, which was one of many stops on the Mohawk Liscense to Spill Tour.
#liscensetospill #cbias #shop

I have a confession, I have never tried Sauerkraut until this weekend and I actually like it, I was surprised by that, because the smell has always turned me off.
Other then eating Sauerkraut ice cream this weekend, seeing an adorable puppy parade and cabbage bowling, I got to meet a local celebrity...Stephanie Kralevich the KPTV meteorologist.
Stephanie Kralevich and me #shop

Stephanie was so sweet and took pictures with me and it was awesome. I met Stephanie at the Mohawk flooring tent, aside from meeting Stephanie I also got the chance to see the most awesome carpet ever in action. I NEED this carpet in my house, true story. My current carpet is supposed to be white and it looks like a gray spotted dog, it's awful. Every tiny drop of liquid or morsel of food stays on my carpet, and I have cleaned it numerous times.

SmartStrand carpet has permanent stain and dirt resistance in the fibers, it does not wear off.  When you normally get your carpets cleaned they apply a "treatment" to resist dirt, but with time it goes away. With SmartStrand it NEVER goes away, it's built into the carpet fiber, so no worries about your carpet looking dingy in a few years. SmartStrand is also very easy to clean, which for this momma of 3 little ladies makes it a must have! You can spill soy sauce, blue Kool-aid, red wine, and even nail polish and all you need is a dishrag, warm water, and maybe clear dish soap to get it clean, that's it! SmartStrand is made by Mohawk flooring which is the world's largest flooring manufacturer and it's ranked #1 in consumer satisfaction, so you don't have to take my word for it, this carpet rocks!

The girls and I decided to do our own carpet demo, I got some SmartStand carpet squares to take home and we went to town. I let them pour soy sauce directly onto the carpet, and it all washed away with warm water.

Clean carpet squares to begin with, and then they unleashed the soy sauce.
If this was my carpet, this would be the end result...but with SmartStrand...

All it takes is some warm water...

and all the soy sauce is gone! It all ended up in the pan, not in the carpet!

This carpet will be in my house, and hopefully it can be my Christmas present *hint* *hint* hubby... With the way my kids spill I need this ASAP!

For all the Portland locals head on over to Macadam Flooring and Design for your free estimate and amazing customer service, they would love to help you out and get SmartStrand carpet in your home.

If you really want to try SmartStrand in your home, go over here and enter to win a 6 x 9 SmartStrand silk bound carpet rug, or you can just buy the carpet and do yourself a favor.

You all know I am a deal seeker and this carpet is actually quite a good deal compared to other carpets with no lifetime stain resistant qualities so buying SmartStrand carpet is money well spent.

For more information or if you have any questions leave a comment or find Mohawk Flooring on Twitter or Facebook.

In Praise of Single Mom's

Well....let's see...I have been shopping on Instagram, couponing like a crazy person, enjoying my 4 lovely people and going back to school. Needless to say I have been just a bit busy. Oh and did I mention my hubby had surgery?!
Yes while we were enjoying ourselves on our Caribbean adventure back in June he injured himself, we thought it would heal up on it's own, maybe a sprained ankle...not the case, he tore his Achilles.

At the end of August he had surgery (hence my absence) and he hasn't been able to put weight on 1 foot for over a month, he was off work for 2 weeks, and he has to keep his foot elevated all the time. I have no.clue. how single moms do everything alone, seriously at least he's still here, even though he can't really do much to help me. So to single moms I say
Working tirelessly for your children, I am not that strong. You rock mamas!

I am going to start posting pictures that I find on my camera, or phone it's a Camera Clean-up
Here's one of my little ladybug, she really is so adorable! Notice the crossed legs...

I will be back this week with some interesting posts, so be on the lookout!

Back to School

Presented by Mami Innovative Media, this is a sponsored post.  I am a Kmart #BackToSchool blogger, though all opinions are my own.
Those 3 words have and always will be dreaded to me.  I really dislike school, going, homework, taking my daughter, getting  up early, all of it. It's official I am a school-hater and I don't care who knows it!
There is exactly a week left before my little one enters kindergarten, I can't believe it folks. I swear just yesterday she was a chubby little bundle in my arms.

Now she is going into kindergarten, almost 6 and holding crabs!
We went on a vacation last week to the Oregon Coast and while we were looking at the sea lions there were some people catching crabs on the dock, she asked to hold them and she did! They were feisty little buggers but that didn't bother her one bit. She held every crab they caught and even tossed them back in the ocean, this girl amazes me!

Speaking of Back to School, where do you do your shopping? After seeing this video by Da Rich Kidzz I am totally going to Kmart. This video and these kids are awesome! I love seeing little kids who are so talented and this video is great. Please check it out, you won't regret it.

DIY Photo Canvas on the Cheap

I am no master decorator, but when I put something on my walls I want it to look nice but I don't want to spend a fortune. I found the solution

Anyone can make a photo canvas, really it's that easy. I am not a super crafty person, I would like to think I am but I'm not and this project made me feel like a DIY rock star!

1- Gather your supplies
I used a color print for this canvas, and black and white prints for the ones above. I prefer black and white because it looks better. I also used a collage print. Matte Modge Podge also gives the canvas look, I don't think glossy would do the trick, stick to matte for this project.

2- Place push pins on the back four corners of the canvas. This allows you to paint the edges without your project sticking to your work surface.

3- Paint the edges of your canvas using the foam brush. You don't want any white to show through, so paint the edges and your photo will cover the rest. No need to make this look pretty. Allow the paint to dry completely.

4- After the paint has dried Modge Podge the back of your photo and stick it to your canvas. Smooth it out so there aren't any air bubbles.

5- Paint the edges of your photo so it blends with the canvas. It creates a "feathered look" I forgot to take a picture, but here is a picture of it on my other canvas.

6- Use the bristle brush to "paint" the top of your photo with Modge Podge. This step freaked me out, because it looked like I was ruining the photo, but have no fear it will dry clear!

Then you're done! You can hang them up or place them on a shelf and pretty up your home.

Canvas- $2.99- Joann's sale price
Modge Podge- $4.99- used a Joann's 50% off coupon
Foam brush- $0.10
Bristle brush- $3.00
Acrylic paint- $1.99
Photo Print- Free with Walgreens deal

Total price = $13.07
Normal Price from an online store= $40+++

Plus I have Modge Podge, paint and the brushes to make more photo canvases!
