My Kids Watch TV {Review and Giveaway}

Yep my kids watch TV, and they especially love Netflix. Also sometimes my kids overwhelm me, yep true mom confession right there. If any mom says that they don't get overwhelmed they are lying or they have a 24/7 nanny, and that's a fact! So at times I hand over my iPad mini to the little's and let them watch Netflix or play the My Little Pony game just so I can do the dishes, fold laundry or make some dinner and I don't feel bad about it.

However I do worry about the safety of my iPad Mini, when I got it in January I didn't even take it out of the box until I had a case, once I got one I felt more secure, but still not good enough to let the 1 year old take it around the house.

When Mobile Fun sent me the iGuy an iPad Mini Case my girls were so excited to see it and so was I! My daughter actually asked, "is that for our iPad?". Sorry sweetie you won't be getting your own for awhile.

The Speck iGuy is a case for the iPad and the iPad mini and it is perfect for little hands

 It has an opening for every port on the iPad Mini, so you can use the camera while it's in the case, charge it and insert headphones, winning!

It is made of such thick and durable foam that it can stand by itself (please ignore the dirty table in the reflection I was baking).

The girls can both watch and I can leave them with the iPad Mini and not worry about it falling.

My dislikes about it would be it offers no screen protection, so buy a screen protector to use with the iGuy to avoid messy little finger prints and it is really hard to get into the case, that is also a positive though because it means they can't get it out!

  1. I feel you there. When my daughter gets overwhelming, I give her my iPhone. I'm pretty sure she can use it better than I can and she is two.

    1. Yep, I try to limit it as best I can. I don't want their face always in something electronic

  8. I actually don't have kids of my own -- but I am a kindergarten teacher. I do often let my students use my iPad to support our lessons.
