Family and The Home: Part 6

For my final post in the Family and the Home series I thought I would share about my own little family.
My name is Myranda

I am a daughter of God, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an auntie and many more things!

I have a wonderful husband who has been with me for over 12 years!

We have 4 wonderful children 3 girls and a little baby boy!

In a world where things are constantly changing, and it is becoming more confusing knowing which decisions we should make, just know that as long as you put your Heavenly Father and your family first you will be successful.

Baby Boy

My (big) little man is 4 months old now!
I can hardly believe he is so big and the time has flown by!
It's different having a boy, for starters I get peed on a lot more, and well honestly that's all I can think of now. Has anyone else noticed boy clothes are harder to find?

Question of the day: Where do you find cute boy clothes? I need help!

Family and The Home: Part 5

For this post I would like to share a couple of talks from something that we call General Conference. Every 6 months we gather and listen to the words of our prophets. These two talks are about mothers and daughters and about fathers and sons. They are inspiring and have a great message.

Question of the Day: Do you have any thoughts about the message in these talks?

Family and The Home: Part 4

My little ones are very important to me, but lets be real I am home all day with them, often never leaving the house except to do school drop-off or pick-ups and it can be exhausting. But I am so grateful for it, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Sometimes I get Facebook envy, where looking at someones social media

When you look at someone's life from the outside, it can seem as though they "have it all", but when we start to focus on what we don't have, we find ourselves in trouble. I think one of the most important lessons we can teach our children in the home is to not judge others, but more importantly is to love one another.

I think sometimes when we judge someone, the thing we find fault in them for is found somewhere inside of us and we don't like it.

This reminds me of a good scripture found in Matthew 7:3-5

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

We should take care of our own issues, before we worry about someone else's. The time we take away from our homes and families while we are worried about other peoples lives is a disservice to them.

Question of the Day: Do you agree or disagree?

Hug Your Little One with Huggies Lil' Snugglers

**I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies and Target. I received samples and a promotional item to facilitate my review.

Like most people I will never turn down a trip to Target, especially when it involves using a scanning gun and creating my registry. I love walking around that clean wonderful store, and I was delighted to walk straight to the baby aisle and see a shelf full of Huggies Lil' Snugglers. I purchased 2 huge boxes, because you can never be too prepared. I also pointed my registry gun and registered for every size of Huggies Lil' Snuggler and Huggies Natural Care wipes, because when you add Huggies Lil' Snugglers and Huggies Natural Care wipes to your registry you could make your baby registry wish come true! All you do is upload your registry link and your wish could come true! Do you want help paying your bills? A nursery makeover? I registered at Target and Huggies Register Your Wish and I am crossing my fingers my wish comes true!  Register for your little one and hopefully you can win too! As boring as it sounds I am wishing for my student loan payments to be made, every penny counts and I need those extra pennies to purchase more diapers!

I love that the New Huggies Lil' Snugglers have a GentleAbsorb Liner with hundreds of tiny absorbent little pillows to protect delicate baby skin from messy wetness. You can give your baby unbeatable skin care by using Huggies Lil' Snugglers. I especially appreciate how gentle they are, because my little man has very sensitive skin. While other brands of diapers cause him to break out or develop a rash, I am happy to say Huggies Lil' Snugglers have been amazing!

Not only are Huggies Lil' Snugglers adorable on my little man, they also help protect his bum from wetness and keep him comfortable. The inside of these diapers feels like a cottony pillow and they have an umbilical cut-out so they don't rub on babies sensitive belly buttons. The back has a pocketed waistband so the mess stays in and the blow-outs are unheard of. Huggies Lil' Snugglers also have a stretchy waistband that provides a secure fit, yet it is gentle enough to keep they comfy.

They also have a wetness indicator, so there is no guessing if your baby needs a diaper change or not. You just look at the line on the diaper and when it turns from yellow to green they are wet, it really is genius. That way you can get the wet diaper off as soon as possible and avoid diaper rashes.

As you can tell, my baby boy is enjoying these Huggies Lil' Snugglers as much as I am, check out that grin!

My #1 Mommy Tip - Have helpers! Caring for a newborn is hard, especially when he is number 4. One way I make it easier on myself is finding ways my girls can help me. I got this diaper caddy and I keep it filled with Huggies Lil' Snugglers and Huggies wipes so they can easily grab it for me.

Head to Target and grab some Lil' Snugglers today for your little snuggle bug! Because Huggies Lil' Snugglers are available at most every store including grocery stores and Target for as low as $11.99 for a jumbo pack! They come in a range of 5 sizes, from size preemie (up to 6 pounds) to size 3 (16-28) pounds.

Müller Corner Yogurt-Review

School is almost out for the summer! Can you believe it's that time already? I'm not entirely sure I'm fully looking forward to it. The not getting up early and getting kids ready part - yes I am super excited! The having everyone home all day, fighting, eating all the food part - not so much. So when I was contacted to review the Müller Corner Yogurt 12 Pack from Costco, I was all over that!

The Müller Corner Yogurt 12 pack has 3 delicious flavors, Corner Strawberry, Corner Choco Balls, and Corner Caramelized Almond. Corner Caramelized Almond is exclusive to the Costco 12 pack and it is THE BEST of the flavors! It is super delicious and the best part is it's only $9.99, that is just $0.83 each which is cheaper then most grocery store sale prices!

My kids and I loved this yogurt and all the flavors taste like deserts. I would head on over to Costco and try them for yourself. Costco will be sampling these yogurts at Costco locations in the Pacific Northwest on June 11th and June 25th.

Don't have a Costco Membership (valued at $55), enter to win one below! This giveaway has a few easy entries and will end in 1 week.

Coming This Summer

So...as you all know I have 3 little ladies, and coming this summer

my son will be making his debut! Yes I certainly did post his parts for all to see, I'm proud!
I have been down and out for the past 4 months with pregnancy. For some reason my pregnancies are extremely difficult and they just keep getting harder. Since I have been going to school on top of everything else, I haven't had a moment to even think about blogging. Seriously not one second.
My little ladies are so excited about their baby brother and so am I. I am also nervous, I have no idea what to do with a baby boy...I don't know about diapers or any of that jazz. This whole thing will be a whole different experience for us.
