Pact Organic Clothing and a Deal!

received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

I haven't been too sick this pregnancy which I am grateful for (considering it's baby number 5) but let me tell you tiredness is taking me down hard. So most days, it's t-shirts and leggings as an outfit choice. Leggings especially are so comfy for my 28 week pregnant body, I can throw on a comfy t-shirt and I'm out the door. Let's be real if it's comfy I'm most likely wearing it.

That is why I am so excited about my new Pact Organic clothes. First of all they are made from incredibly super soft organic cotton, they don't use sweat shops in the production of their clothing (this is awesome), and they are lightweight which is perfect for the Phoenix heat. Not only do they not utilize sweatshops, they don't use child labor, they provide healthy working conditions and pay a livable wage.

I love that the tank has a bit of stretch to it, because I can wear it while pregnant and after the baby is born it will be perfect for a postpartum tummy and nursing. The comfy lounge bra is great now and will be great for nursing the baby. Especially in those first few postpartum weeks, when everything is sore and comfort is needed.

Lets be honest right now I spend most days cuddled up with this little bug/photobomber and leggings and a comfy tank are perfect for that!

Did I mention they are certified fair trade? When I hear this and the word "organic" I usually think expensive, but these are incredibly priced (and you all know I love a good deal). Like just $29.99 for a pair of leggings and they have kids clothes! Also right now you can score their kids clothes on sale, I am talking every kids item is under $10, which is incredible.
The logo is on every item, isn't it the cutest?!

My favorite items right here, the tank is missing because I'm currently wearing it along with a pair of the socks.
Right now you can save 25% off your ENTIRE order when you click here and use the code PrettyLiving25. They also offer free shipping and returns on orders over $59! Go and snag some comfy clothes today!

Question of the day: What's your go-to postpartum outfit?

Super Simple Homemade Taco Seasoning

I did the Whole 30 for a brief stint and during that time I made some goof-ups, one of which surprised me. I was making taco meat and I used my usual taco seasoning then I decided to glance at the ingredients, and here is what I found.

SPICES (INCLUDING CHILI PEPPER, CUMIN, PAPRIKA, OREGANO), ONION, WHEY (MILK), SALTGARLICSUGARPOTATO STARCH, AND NATURAL FLAVOR.

I was very surprised that it contained milk and sugar, I couldn't see the reasoning behind it. So I decided to make my own and here it is, it is super delicious and easy to make, and you mix it all up in a mason jar.

Throw all these ingredients into a mason jar with a lid and shake it up!

1/2 cup Chili Powder
1/4 cup Onion Powder
1/8 cup Ground Cumin
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Paprika
1 tablespoon Sea Salt (I have also used kosher)
1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Place lid on jar and shake

*Add 3 TBS of seasoning and 1/3 cup water to each pound of browned ground meat and let simmer until thickened.

*If your recipe calls for a packet of taco seasoning also use 3 TBS.

*You can double or triple the recipe, just make sure there's enough room in your jar so it can mix well when you shake it.

*This keeps in an airtight jar for up to 6 months, although I have never had a jar around that long.

*If you like a spicy kick  try adding 1/4 teaspoon (or more) of Red Pepper flakes
