How Do You Family? (Sponsored Post)

have received information from the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post.

How do you family? Who is your family? What is a family? I think family is people who love each other, there doesn't have to be a blood relation, it doesn't have to contain a mom, a dad and 2.5 children as some would suggest. For over 60 years the well being of families has mattered to Tylenol and they have launched the #HowWeFamily program to show that family isn't about who you love, but about how you love. You can see the stories of 11 real American families here, and see how they do family. With Christmas being so close lets all continue to celebrate our families. Don't let the holiday craziness make you forget why you are doing all this. I love seeing the wonder in my kids eyes as we look at Christmas lights, or make Christmas cookies, it is truly a magical time of year. I loved watching this video from Tylenol because it gave me the warm fuzzies and caused tears to well in my eyes. It is truly an amazing compilation of family love. If you have an extra 57 seconds please watch and remember how important your family is.

How I Save Money- Kids Clothes Edition

Today I thought I would focus on how I save money shopping for kids clothes.  I love shopping for clothes, but I don't like full price. I actually think I have something called fullpriceitis.
Full-Price-I-Tus
the anxiety and hives that come along with buying something for full price.

I seriously cannot shop full price, it gives me anxiety because I know it will be cheaper. So here are the ways I save money on my kids clothes.

1- Use Ebates
I LOVE Ebates! Like seriously LOVE it! It is a cash back site that give you $$$ back when you shop online. You see that total?! I have earned over $250 just by doing shopping I would normally do.

How does it work? Stores like Gymboree, Target and Sears (just to name a few) pay Ebates a commission for bringing shoppers to their sites, then Ebates shares that with the shopper. So Gymboree gives Ebates 2% and they share that with you 50/50 so you would get 1% cash back! Click here to sign up for Ebates and you can get a $10 cash bonus after you make your first $25 purchase (within 90 days)!

2- Use Coupons
My love for coupons and discount is real, I love deals and saving money. Kids clothes are no exception. To get coupons sign up for emails. Some of my favorites are

Gymboree (comment with your email and I will send you a 25% off coupon that doesn't expire for 3 weeks)

Tons of these companies offer you a 20% coupon (or more) when you sign up for their email list, and then you can save it for a sale.

3- Stock Up
Right now as we are at the end of summer so all the summer clothes are at alarmingly low prices. Stock up now for next summer. You can save up to 90% at some places on summer clothes right now!

4- Wait
There will be a better deal, sometimes even waiting until the weekend means more deals and extra savings. Also waiting for holiday weekends to shop is an awesome idea. Stores are usually having blow-out prices around this time.

5- Use Gift Cards
I use the gift card app Raise. They have discounts on gift cards, and you can save an additional $5 off with my code MBARNES1 and right now (hurry it WILL expire) you can save an additional $10 with the promo code "WELCOME10"!

For example, I scored a $25 Old Navy gift card for just $9! That's a 64% savings! Hello awesome! Combine that with the tips above and save BIG! Click here to get started on Raise.

*If you don't see the $5 come off for the referral code, go to settings, then click "claim referral" and enter code there.

Back to School with Carters (Sponsored)

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carter’s. I received a complimentary gift card to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.

School has already started for us, and even though the girls wear uniforms to school we still go back to school clothes shopping, because they need clothes after school and on weekends. There are lots of places to shop for kids clothes, but Carters is one of my favorites their clothes are cute, colorful and fresh. They also have great quality clothes for an awesome price and as an added bonus they now have up to size 8 clothes and size 3Y shoes! I am so happy about that, because now I can keep dressing my oldest in their cute coordinated collections.

My husband was off work for a few days this summer so we could have a little vacation, so I decided to go shopping at Carter's...alone! It was glorious to browse around finding the best deals and cutest clothes for my little ones.
Now that Labor Day weekend is here, the entire store is 50% off or more! There is lots of 70% off as well, I love a good bargain so I may have to go back! The doorbuster I am most excited for is the 5 pack onesies for $12, in the chilly Pacific NW these are amazing for layering in the chilly fall weather.

Not only are the clothes adorable, they are modern and on trend. It's a win-win, your kids can go back to school rockin' stylish outfits, and you don't have to break the bank for their wardrobe.

Don't those cute pajamas just make you feel happy? I am obsessed with the Carters 4 pack pajamas, I kind of want all the patterns for the kids, they are so adorable! These owl one are my favorite, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside that Carter's carries size 8. Now I can keep my girls matching for another year! I love matching their outfits.

Peep that cute, colorful coordination on those outfits, love it!

You can check out the sales and get a coupon over on their website, Carters.com

Back To School and Soccer Shenanigans

This summer has been a whirlwind. I don't know where the time has gone, do you feel like your summer flew by? School started super early this year, like in August, in all my years in this school district it has NEVER started in August. Also started on a Thursday, which I find odd. Everyone is back to school except the 2 youngest and me (I start later this month), even the hubby is back to school.

I am officially a soccer mom, the girls started playing soccer this year, I really like it and so do they. This was before her first game, my hubby was trying to get some "action" shots...they don't look staged at all.

This little lady started kindergarten this year, and she was nervous because she had a different teacher then we originally thought.

Soccer practice shenanigans. We are at the field practicing 3 days a week and at games every Saturday, so we are here a lot.

This little one is ecstatic to have her daddy home during the day, her and the baby get him all to themselves for 6 hours and she is in heaven. Of course school just started, so as he needs to study more we won't be able to browse Bed Bath and Beyond at 10 AM on a Wednesday but for now we will take it!

Real Food For Babies with Beechnut (Giveaway)

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Beech-Nut. I received a free coupon to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

My little man loves to eat, I mean he LOVES it. He usually eats half a jar of baby food, along with a serving of our dinner.  I wouldn't feed my babies anything I wouldn't eat, that's why I am so excited about Beech-Nut Organic foods which is really just real food for babies. Beech-Nut organic foods only contain whole foods (fruits, vegetables, ancient grains and beans), nothing else.

I love that I don't have to worry about preservatives and GMO's, I can confidently feed my baby store-bought food, and know that it's just as good as making it myself. Beech-Nut has really adventurous food combinations, and they are yummy! I can say this confidently, because I tasted them!

In addition to these 3 flavors, they have options like organic banana, cinnamon and granola and organic butternut squash, black bean and cumin. I would have never thought to give my baby cucumbers, but now I can.

Beech-Nut was awarded the 2015 Product of the Year in the baby category for their 100% natural and organic lines, so I think it's safe to say they know what they're doing.

My little man LOVED this food, he gobbled it up! That jar was gone in under 10 minutes, it usually takes him 20 minutes to finish a jar, so that's a big deal!

We tried the apple, raspberry and avocado first. I tried the first bite and it was so tasty. The texture isn't completely pureed, it's not chunky, it's just not completely smooth. I love the color of the food, it's so vibrant. They tasted amazing, my 3 year old was even eating it with him.

Today you can enter to win a coupon so YOU can try this awesome food with your little one, enter below! Hurry you only have a couple of days to enter! Also check out the link below to see where you can buy Beech-Nut organic baby food.

Pieology Pizza Party and a Giveaway

A few weeks ago my family and I got to go into Pieology Pizza for some pizza, a contest and a good time. If you find yourself asking "what is Pieology?" I have your answer, it is a fast casual pizza place. You go in, get in line and order your pizza, just how you want it, with as many or as few toppings, and it comes freshly baked to you in under five minutes. How is that for amazing! It is seriously amazing, and for only $7.95 you get a custom 11.5 inch pizza pie,  how can you go wrong? They even have a gluten-free crust option and vegan cheese (for a little more dough, pun intended).

If that doesn't make you run to your nearest Pieology, then I don't know what will.

I know I mentioned a contest and I am sure you are dying to know how we did. We designed a lovely pie with pepperoni, salami, veggies and 2 types of olives and we named it

Awesum Olive Pizza

We won for the most colorful pizza, and they were so proud!

Make sure when you are standing in line you check out the awesome quote wall, it's filled with all kinds of treasures.

He was a little upset that no one shared their pizza with him.

Black and White

Recently we stopped by the temple on our way home from Fry's Electronics and it was glorious! The sun was shining and the weather was amazing, it was so peaceful.

In other news someone lost  a couple teeth. She did have shark teeth but now the baby ones are all gone! They grow up so fast.

Question of the day: How is your week going so far?
